About the Place:
Referred to as the heart or crown of Dharamshala and Mcleod Ganj, the Triund trek is one of the most popular & and splendorous treks in the Himalayas, situated at an altitude of 7700 feet. Triund trek is one of the shortest Himalayan treks with spectacular scenery and a picturesque view of snow-covered Dhauladhar ranges and Kangra valley. This two-day short trek can easily be done on a weekend. Most of us barely get enough time to travel, explore new places, and go on an adventurous trip.
Triund trek allows us to explore the beauty and calmness of the Himalayas, this trek might be short but it will; surely give you a little taste of adventure as the trail is a little steep at some points.
Trek through the highest waterfall of McLeod Ganj, the Bhagsu Nag waterfall. Triund is a gorgeous grassy alpine meadow situated at the top of the hill from where one can witness the breathtaking view of majestic Dhauladhar ranges and the panoramic view of Kangra Valley. Revel the camping at the high
summit of Mana village below the billions of stars. Night camping at the top of Triund under the starry sky will be the best experience one can ever have.

Day 0: Evening Departure from Delhi to Mcleodganj
Day 1: Reach to Mcleodganj | Local sightseeing
Day 2: Start our Trikund trek and overnight camping at Triund’s top
Day3: Down trek from Triund top and Delhi departure in the evening
Day4: Reach to Delhi in the Morning

It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
